Days Guizhou Trekking Tour

The
scheduled hiking distance is
suggested from six to seven
kilometres each day. Hiking
on the pathes among the mountains.
You will stay four nights in
different villages. You will
have a chance to taste the local
flavour. Gaopo county is located
in southeast suburb of Guiyang
and inhabited by Miao and Buyi
people . the mountains in Gaopo
are characterized by karst topography
with an average height of more
than 1,500 meters above sea
level. Gaopo county is made
up of 87 natural villages with
a population of 1,7231. It enjoys
a subtropical and mountainous
climate.

Arrive in Guiyang, the
capital of Guizhou province.
Meet at airport and
transfer to a 4 star

Drive
25 km from Guiyang to
Qinyan, an ancient town
, noted for its ancient
city wall and memorial
archway. After sightseeing
there, drive 19 km to
Gaopo (an area inhabited
by Miao, Buyi and Han
people). In the afternoon,
start hiking from Machang
. enjoy the tranquility
of the countryside villages
and visit a Catholic
Church. Overnight in
Raorao Buyi village. |

Visit several Miao villages
and experience their
daily life . Enjoy the
view of the terraced
paddy fields, you will
be greeted by the Miao
people in Yunding and
drink wine before entering
the village (Way-block

Miao and Buyi village
. Enjoy the view of
Mountainous waterfalls.
After arrival in Pining,
see the wooden coffins
suspending on the cliff---a

performance of Miao

wooden coffins inside
(this funeral tradition
can be traced back to
the Ming Dynasty, 500
years ago , the coffins
were specially for those
who were over 60 years

take a car back to Guiyang.
